Hello, I’m Jeff Schultheis. At 69 years old, I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and have a true passion for their care and well-being. My wife and I have proudly operated our family-owned dog boarding kennel for over 15 years, providing trusted, loving care to dogs of all breeds and personalities.

I understand that not every pet is suited for kennel stays — that’s why I also offer in-home pet care and daily dog walking services. Whether you need help for a single day, a weekend getaway, or a longer trip, I’ll ensure your pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for right in their own home.

In addition to dogs, I have hands-on experience caring for cats, horses, and ducks. My goal is simple: to give your pets the same dependable care and attention they’d receive from you.

Our Story

Schultheis Dog Boarding was founded with the idea that pets deserve to be treated with love and respect. Believe in offering affordable dog boarding with flexible hours for pickups and drop-offs. We were a part of a rescue and transitioned into dog boarding when people that adopted dogs from the rescue wanted to place to board their dogs and they felt we would be the best ones to look after their dogs that they adopted from us.
